Extensive interior renovation of single story ranch house with full tear out and refinish of basement in Colchester, Vermont. Central kitchen living/dining/area opened up by the removal of several partition walls, now supported with an exposed steel I-beam. Kitchen countertops, lower cabinets, and flooring were all left in place while the upper cabinets were replaced with a custom open shelving system built with black iron piping and 100+ year old salvaged planks for shelving. Project involved the installation of all new electrical, plumbing and heating systems as well as the installation of a heat recovery ventilation system (HRV).
