Experienced project management

Every project is different and the approach will vary as well. Your project may need professional design. We have established relationships with a variety of architects and designers and we’d be happy to connect you with them. Some projects don’t require that level of expertise – in those cases we can work with you to develop your ideas and provide the needed guidance to carry out the project.

One of the advantages of Blue Heron Building is that owner Dan Opton not only handles all job development tasks (pre-construction) but he is also on the job site which means he brings that thorough knowledge – from design challenges to budget details – to bear on the project.  With a larger firm, there are usually multiple people involved, including an estimator who may never be back on site, a site manager, and others actually carrying out the site work. With these larger firms they may have quality help but but lack the efficiency of a small company where the owner is involved with every project start to finish.
